MAS 500 Accounts Receivable Cash Receipt Entry has been enhanced to allow the user to create a credit memo or debit memo “on the fly” to apply to an Accounts Receivable open invoice within the Cash Receipt batch. Detailed Accounts Receivable reports such as the Trial Balance and Aged Receivable Report will display the details of the debit or credit memo application created from this enhancement.

This feature set may also be utilized to create a “deduction invoice” during cash receipt entry. The purpose of the “deduction invoice” would be to create an open debit memo for further investigation when a customer applies a discount to payment not attributed to a specific invoice.
